The new tips include why you should search out new perspectives on your subjects, and how to properly adjust the sharpening of RAW files. The second is particularly important for anyone who just started shooting RAW, and is wondering why the image from the camera is looking so dull and lifeless. I will also be adding more to that section soon on HDR and other post processing techniques. I have known about this website for some time, but only recently registered and starting entering challenges. Let me tell you, it's a blast! I have already entered 10 challenges covering a wide range of different subjects. It's really helped me think of objects and scenes in a different light, and has already helped out with my photography skills. I still haven't found a great way to ensure that all such characters are accepted, but at least the new version 1.5.2 handles a number of them better. It you have been having troubles with Maintidget accepting special characters in your password, try out the latest version. The first discusses the pros and cons of "designed for digital" lenses. These are really great for beginners or those who want a lighter camera bag, but not so great for longevity. On the other hand, extension tubes are great for everybody. With a relatively inexpensive set of tubes, you can turn your ordinary lenses into very macro capable lenses.
